Looking for Alaska Charaters

Alaska: Alaska is a hot curvy girl with eyes like emeralds that Miles has a crush on. She is from Vine Station she has a boyfriend that goes to Vanderbilt named Jake, but secretly has a crush on Miles. She’s very loud, smokes absolutely way too many cigarettes, and likes to drink alcohol. In the novel she reveals that she blames herself for her mother’s death. When she was eight years old she heard her scream and rushed to her to only come to her lying on the floor jerking.  She saw her mom then freaked out and she began to start screaming and crying. Soon her mom stopped jerking so Alaska was under the impression she had fallen to sleep. Alaska stayed by her mother until her dad came home and he started to screaming “ why didn’t you call 911” and tried to give her CPR, but it was too late she was dead.  She’s also the one who ratted out Marya, which caused her to get expelled.

Lara: Lara is a pretty girl from Romania. She and her parents came to Alabama when she was twelve. She has aunts and uncles that live in Alabama so her and her family weren’t completely alone. Lara is actually a pretty innocent girl until the day they all slept in the woods. That night her and Miles hooked up, and then became a couple. Lara hasn’t ever experienced anything sexual so she tried to test the waters sense she had a boyfriend now. Her and Miles relationship is sort of odd because they really can’t hold a conversation so their relationship really revolves around hooking up.

Chip Martin:  Chip is Miles’s roommate that goes by the name Colonel. He despises rich people, which is odd because his girlfriend Sara is pretty wealthy. Chip is basically the ring leader of his friends, and is very protective over them. So when he found out about what Kevin and his friends did to Miles he instantly wanted revenge. He’s also the one that is getting blamed for getting Kevin’s friend getting expelled even though he didn’t do it, which caused Miles to get hazed.  When he was young his mom kicked out his dad for cheating, and ever sense then his father never tried to contact him. Growing up he didn’t live the luxurious life at all. He grew up in a trailer home smaller than the size of his dorm. He and his mother are very close, and his dream is to buy his mom a huge house in the middle of Mountain Brook with full cash.

The Eagle: The eagle is basically the eyes of the campus.  Whatever goes on he knows about, if he doesn’t know he will sooner or later, and there will be consequences.

Takumi: Takumi is a thin Japanese boy who is part of Miles group of friends. The best day of his life is when he lost his virginity. He considers the worst day of his life his when his grandmother died before he could meet her for the first time in Japan. The first time he had gotten to meet her was when she was lying in her casket.

Kevin: Kevin has spikey haired boy. He is one of the boys that were part of the hazing of Miles. He is obsessed with his hair so his hair was the target for the revenge that was planned against him. Colonel had put blue dye in his shampoo and hair gel. The master planned worked but not all of the way. Kevin had realized his shampoo was blue but didn’t realize there was blue dye in his hair gel. When he realized his hair was blue he instantly knew who had pranked him, and stormed to Colonels dorm. It was sort of odd because he didn’t necessarily respond how I thought, all he did was spit in Colonels Coke and basically ask for truce.

Why I Choose Aurora

I choose to write my argument essay about the movie Maleficent from Aurora’s point of view. The movie mainly revolves around Aurora even though she isn’t the main character, she still is the key stone of the story. In the beginning of the story Maleficent enchanted her with the gift of being beautiful and to have a pure heart. She also cursed her with going into a deep sleep on her 16^th birthday by a prick of a needle on a spinning wheel, but can be awakened by a true loves kiss.  Her motivation in the story is love, belong, and esteem. She is loved by all when she was taken away to the enchanted forest, and everyone in it loved her. At first Maleficent resented her but soon grew to love her too. What would be added to the story would be her wonder of why she was in the enchanted forest, and where her parents were. Her thoughts about Prince Phillip would be added as well considering they didn’t really address how she really felt about him. How she felt when she met her dad for the first time would be added as well. The things that are missing are the story of her parents, and Maleficent’s role. I believe the movie should be told Aurora’s perspective because she doesn’t really have much of a voice in the movie even though she plays a big role.

                

Charlie the New Rock “n” Roll Clown

When Charlie was three her parents died in a car crash, and she was put into a home by the state. Her only family which was her Uncle Roxo was going through rehab for five years at the time. After the five years were done he was finally clean and able to adopt her. Her Uncle Roxo is a rock “n” roll clown, and he use to do cocaine.  Even though he no longer does cocaine he is still in his rock n roll band. His new goal in life is to teach Charlie how to be a metal rock star. When he adopts her he brings her onto the tour with him and his band.

6 years later Charlie became the lead guitarist in the band. As she got older she started to get into cocaine like her uncle. Even though Roxo was clean she was still influenced by the rest of the band, and soon Roxo just gave in and joined her. One day after the show the police came and raided the tour bus and arrested everyone but Charlie because she was a minor. The same day Charlie used all the money that they made from the tour and bailed out her uncle, on one condition. The condition was that Roxo had to promise to stop doing cocaine and turn his life over, not only would he have too, but Charlie would as well.

Roxo and Charlie soon moved into a house and started a whole new life. They started to go to church, and soon joined the church band. The church band ended up being so good that they started to do world tours, the first stop of their tour was the Vatican. When they arrived to the Vatican Roxo and Charlie smelled a familiar smell, so they ended up following the smell. The smell lead them to the pope’s bedroom. Inside of the sock drawers they found a bag of cocaine that was nicely wrapped. Roxo turned to Charlie and says “well its blessed by the pope”, so they began to snort the cocaine. Moments later the pope walks in with his royal guard, and the guards yell “what are you doing with the popes cocaine?” Then the pope stops the guard and says “it’s ok, these guys know how to party”. When they were done snorting the pope invited Roxo and Charlie to live with him, and so they did. The Vatican soon became a one stop spot, a place where you can do coke and find Jesus.
