Halloween Gone Wrong

Last year’s Halloween didn’t go as I planned. I was supposed to go trick or treating with my cousin DeeDee, so we didn’t, but not as planned. The weather on Halloween last year was at least 20 degrees. Considering it was so cold outside we decided to just stay in, and make hot chocolate. We thought that was the plan until my Aunt Dionne, which is DeeDee’s mom forced us to go out. She said we were “kids” and to bundle up and go trick-or-treat, and that is what we did. When we stepped outside we instantly felt the wind hit our face and automatically wanted to go back inside. We ran from house to house, and were told countless times that we were the only trick-or-treaters they had all day; considering, we were the only ones. Every house we went to we were given handfuls of candy. My cousin and I only went to about 6 houses total and came back home with the amount of candy that seemed like we went to double.
